I didn’t really grow up in a Christian household, it was just me and my mom until she met my now stepdad, Russell. His family invited us to CLC and I got invited to youth group by his nephew, Malachi. Ever since then, I have loved it and I love how everyone you talk to is so nice and so happy to see you. It made me want to keep coming to youth to see these people and be able to learn about the Lord. It was my second year at camp whenI truly felt the presence of God, which opened me up to a new way of life from what I was living. That Friday night is when I had my 1 on 1 with my camp counselor and gave my life to Christ.
