As a child, I went to a Greek Orthodox Church with my grandparents but did not understand what it actually meant to go to church. During my early teens, I began attending church with my neighbors. One summer in my early teens and during vacation Bible school I accepted Jesus as my savior. I understood he died and resurrected for the forgiveness of my sins. However, even though I trusted and followed the Lord God; it was somewhat intermittently. Over the spring of 2025 I attended A Walk to Emmaus conference. Over those 4 days I acknowledged I needed more of Jesus in my life and since then my yearning to learn more about him has been overwhelming. I wish to be baptized as a commitment to Him and to continue my journey with Jesus.
